On October 21-22, 2026, we will host the 22nd Annual Saint Crispin’s Day Celebration CLE, which we have paired with a timely theme ― 250 Years of Resistance: A celebration of the sustained fight for justice in America.

As our nation marks its quarter-millennial anniversary, we will celebrate something worth remembering: The many years of resistance—of lawyers and ordinary people standing against the power of the government and insisting that liberty, dignity, and justice belong to everyone.

Join us as we carry that tradition forward with trainings targeted at making our voices clearer in the sustained fight for justice. The star-filled roster of speakers will include:

  • Dumaka Shabazz, Chief Federal Defender, Middle District of Tennessee
  • Laura Mate, United States Sentencing Commissioner
  • (The incomparable) Don Samuel with his (incomparable) Supreme Court Update
  • Lawyers of the Federal Capital Trial Project (with a primer on Federal Capital Basics)
  • Tina Woehr, Sentencing Resource Counsel
  • Lynsey Barron, CJA Representative for the NDGA

We will also celebrate the tangible defense wins achieved right here in our district during this Crispin year. And so much more. We will send out registration details soon.
