St. Crispin’s Day: Awards, Awards, and More Awards

The annual St. Crispin’s Day event (22 years and counting!) is in the history books. We handed out Crispin Stars to 40 people. You’ll see the commemorative pin below.

Our friend Stephen Johnson describes the award this way: “A Crispin Star reflects and honors the advocacy promoted by Jake Waldrop. Specifically, an advocacy that not only seeks the best legal result, but also attempts to reverse or stall the downward trajectory our clients find themselves in.  A Crispin Star could easily be a Crispin Life Preserver because that was the vision of indigent representation espoused by Jake in both words and actions―to lift up our clients from the waves they were drowning under.” Over the next year, please email nominations (including yourself!) to Stephen.
