At the close of our annual St. Crispin’s Day program last week, we awarded the Leeza R. Cherniak Award of the Sword to our good friend, Andrew Hall. Through this award, we recognize each year an attorney on the CJA Panel who displays “consistent valor in the face of adversity, heroism in the defense of others, and a commitment to the cause of justice.” This year, Leigh Finlayson was proud to hand the award to Andrew, and we are proud to inscribe Andrew’s name on the list of luminaries who came before him.
